Hi, I’m Cat — owner and floral designer behind Lilac Bloom.

Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do. Long before Lilac Bloom existed, I was drawn to florals, thoughtful design, and the way beautiful details can completely transform a space. After welcoming my son and stepping away from the corporate world, I finally gave myself permission to turn what had long been a passion project into a business — and Lilac Bloom was born.

Alongside my floral work, I bring over a decade of experience in event management and a luxury wedding planning diploma. This background means I understand not just how things should look, but how they need to work on the day — from timelines and logistics to collaborating seamlessly with venues and suppliers. It’s an experience that allows me to approach every event with calm confidence, organisation, and an eye for detail.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with florists and creative teams and attended numerous floristry workshops, where I first realised this was more than an interest — it was something I wanted to do professionally. Those years of hands-on exposure, learning, and refinement now shape my design-led, thoughtful approach to floristry.
